We worked all weekend on the house! Gee and Grumpy (Sharon and Don) came over and the boys hung trim and the girls did wallpaper, paint and accessories....and we tore down door units :)
The girls room is going to have a light turquoise
headboard with melon and
turq accessories on brown walls.....so I would love to have this
chandelier by Marjorie
Skouras....but not in the budget for the kiddos room....so came the craft project. :)

Lowes gave me the basket for free!!!) I think the outcome will be cute in their room....I am going to hang it in-between their beds.
Grumpy has also finished our dining table....we loved the ceiling in their office....lots of beautiful trim, so we flipped it over and that's where the table idea came from :) all we need to do is stain it!
On Sunday, everyone was down for late afternoon "quiet time" aka nap time.....I had a snuggle partner that didn't think it was a good idea for me to take a nap :) I did enjoy having Dixie around this weekend! FYI - I didn't fix up all weekend (except for the
TCU game) so excuse the pic
