Welcome to Hogwarts

To say that the girls LOVE Harry Potter is an understatement.......naturally, they requested a Harry Potter Birthday Party!  (Yes this is from March....I am that far behind)
So......Welcome to Hogwarts.

We still have remnants of the floating candles in our dining room.

Okay....so my baking skills are improving.....the cake tasted good...but my stacking skills are lacking :)

I made a map with invisible ink for all the kids.....this showed them to their bag of coins to buy a robe, wand and candy from Honeydukes Sweet Shop

We also had potion class.  We had lots of fun ingredients including phoenix tears and ogre boogers.  At the end, we mixed everything together and made a nice little mess ;)

We also made yummy smoothies and magic color changing soda to drink (dried food coloring in the bottom of the cups)

I cannot believe they are 7!  Time really does fly......some days that is a relief...but mostly it's disappointing.

My little jelly beans are not so little any more.

Weekend in San Antonio

Addison loves to swim!!!  She is extremely brave.....that's why I had to jump in with my clothes still on :)

Yep....posted a pic of me in a bathing suit....nuts!  Okay so Mom and I forgot our suits...so we ran to Target and picked up a couple.  Well.....we definitely should have tried them on.  I will not share details but I will say that I laughed so hard I started crying!  I don't think I have ever done that.
Addi preferred her sisters help over mine :)
Thanks to Gee's Easter baskets, we had lots of fun things to do....the giant bubbles were a favorite at the field.
Miss Grace all ready for the game.
 Batter Up!
She did so awesome during her game!
 She scored a run!!
The best one we were able to get all weekend!
Faith had karate practice.  We mysteriously were given the wrong time (she sarcastically states)....so Faith was in a class with older kids.....see the difference?
Rule #1 if you are being attacked.....Smile!
This was so fun to watched.  She did great!!
I think her job was to make sure no one was smiling.  Glad they had her sit out on this exercise :)

Little Ladybug

She is 3! Can you believe it?

She was determined to have a ladybug birthday party........

Cristie and Aunt Janet "GaGa" made these absolutely adorable marshmallow pops and ladybug pretzels!!!

I set up a photo booth with homemade props.....the bigger kids didn't think this was cool :) I loved it!!!

Can you spot the mustache?

It wouldn't be much of a ladybug party if we didn't have live ladybugs...now would it?

I ordered them from a nursery in California.....we experienced the "Great Ladybug Escape of 2012" on the way home with them....hahahaha (the minimum order was 1500!!!)
