Want to piss me off???

Apparently one person did. I received this lovely comment on my post about camping outside and painting the girls toenails. Anonymous

Is this a kind of American lifestyle? To start the human make-overs in time? You paint the toenails on children and teach them that natural beauty is not enough? You teach the girls that they are girls and need to pimp up their looks? Breast implants planned for when? Collagen lips? What make-up are they going to wear and when is it time to put on cheek implants? I thought Heidi Pratt was something negative and unique but with mothers like you I fully understand why girls in US never feel pretty enough. Their fucking mothers teach them that they aren´t pretty enough and need improvement and it starts when the girls are toddlers. Shame on you!!! Shame on you!! Shame on you!!!

My comments....you ask???

Shame on you for judging situations you have no idea about. Implants and collagen....seriously? Did you see the pictures of me....all natural buddy! Birthmarks, blemishes and definitely not blessed up top :) I have lots of imperfections....huge red birthmark, no calf muscles, big feet, plump nose, hips....do I need to go on? If I were concerned about what is "beautiful", I would drive myself crazy....in fact, if I were concerned about what people like you think, I wouldn't have made it through high school! "Mothers like me" paint toenails because its fun.....do you think I told them they needed to "pimp their looks" so lets do rainbow colors on your toes...you idiot!!!! "Mothers like me" put make up on my girls so that we can have a circus (zebra and cheetah)....no, I forgot, I told them we had to impress the other shoppers at Target!

I have three little girls that are absolutely beautiful!! Not because they have green and pink polish on their toes, but because they are kind and caring. They will grow up knowing that "ugly" people make stupid and judgemental comments. You should learn a lesson from my little girls......everything is pure and simple for them. You wear a dress because it's comfortable and doesn't itch; you paint your nails because "I am going to be an artist Mommy!"; you brush your hair and teeth because it "makes them sparkle" and is good for you!!!

Everyone likes to feel confident....whether you get that from getting your PhD or a face lift...who cares!! Thousands and thousands of people make the decision to get breast implants...whether it is because of vanity or after breast cancer...I say go for it girl! I don't think it is any ones business to judge their decision.

I sincerely feel sorry for you. Your comments are worse than what you loathe.

Please stay off of my pretty little blog!

hmmm....think I might want to be a little plumper up top :)

Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe anyone who actually knows you would post such a thing. You have a great attitude about it, though, and are 100% right. The only "ugly" one here is the creep who is too lame to even post under their own name/login.

Crazy isn't it? I have had a couple of anonymous comments I've had to delete...just miserable people too insecure to back up with their face what they spew with their keyboard.

You're doing a great job....in fact, I might just go paint Heidi Sage's toes right now! :-)

It's probably some big obese woman that saw your pictures and became very jealous of you & your children. She really didn't deserve any attention upon this but since she asked for it....
There are some people in life that never find the right path with God. They tend to dwell on others happiness and want to stoop them to their own level of hatred & stupidity. Haven't we all heard of mental illness....yeah that post reminded me of my invalid friend that suffers from Major Depressive Disorder. Instead of pushing her away lets embrace her and we can all gather local information for her to see her a local shrink and get some help. I am also offering my assistance to find her a local Dr that can perform the lap band procedure or even gastric bypass. If she doesn't believe in boobs & polish, then maybe she will believe in Prozac & weight loss so she wont have to thrive on others peoples beauty...inside & out!

I like your blog, and am so glad that you spit right back in 'anonymous' face.

I don't let the anonymous post comments.

Good on you!
I like painted toenails, even on little babies!

I didn't read all the comments before I posted, but I do want to make one comment. I've had gastric bypass surgery.

So has one of my best friends and my mother has considered it. Wasn't stepping on toes for anyone that had it. Just clarifying a point....Some pl are just bitter and cannot find happiness within themselves therefore they dwell on others.

Ha ha ha! No Jenifer with just one "n". I am not obese unless 150 pounds and 5 feet 11 is counted as obese. No I just think that American mothers exploit their children like this blog owner and many others do. You pimp them up and even put the naked babies up in public for everyone to see but adult people are soo prude. And this prudeness is one of many things I love about you Americans. I have visited your country many times and you are friendly lovely people BUT you should care more for your children´s privacy. They are not items or pets to put up in public and children are so beautiful "au naturel" and that is my point. Why teach girls that they must do these make-overs as soon as they learn to eat or walk and become toddlers?
And don´t show them naked on internet. They deserve the same privacy as I suppose you and your "fans" on this blog want for yourselves. Privacy and integrity is very important and this girl has been denied that. By her own mother.
And don´t include God in this. He created the human being without make-up Jenifer. How much do you weigh by the way?
Just because there are people who don´t tell all their details on internet and display their naked children doesn´t mean they have problems with God. I don´t think God approves of make-up or naked children on internet.
Let God decide who to judge or not. YOU Jenifer with one "n" are not God because you survived.
If I were less careful I could write name and address but I just tell you my name is Marita and I weigh 150 pounds (70 kilogrammes) and I 5 feet 11 and I suppose the BMI states that I am normal in that sense anyway. AM I therefore entitled to an opinion or what?
To the owner of this blog I can say that your blog is public and therefore not illegal to follow or comment on. And to a mother who displays a naked baby I don´t feel obliged to feel respect too. Show yourself naked instead and violate your own privacy. THAT is honest, madame.//Regards

What? You want to see me naked?

Jenifer said...

This is too funny! I am so proud you can spell my name right! Most pl dont. You should be proud of yourself. (Lets all clap)
I know I am not God, I turned to God, and that is why I did survive! I am actually right at 138 now and 5'4". I was actually put on medication to treat some symptoms but I norm stay about 125. After we are done with these trial meds it should all come back naturally. I actually found my tumor when I was wearing my skimpy little American made bikini flaunting my natural D breast that God gave me at the pool!!! Oh and I didn't have any make-up on or polish either. Actually I only wear make-up when I have important things going on. I leave my house prob 250+ days a year without it.
You are right, you do have your rights to an open blog, however is it appropriate? Whatever happened to acceptance & diversity...Oh wait you are not an American. Does your country not promote diversity??? Is it really worth a strangers time to look at peoples blogs you dont know, then post something rude. Its called accept yourself and respect other peoples beliefs. I am anti-abortion...does that mean everyone who has an open blog about something I dont believe in I should just snoop on their blogs and post MY beliefs....no, because I respect myself enough to not disrespect other pl in that manner.
Also I will include God in my posts. He did create us. Put it this way....he did NOT create the oven, an air conditioner, toilet paper, or scissors, and so forth. So do you not cook in a home, use cooled/heated air, wipe your butt, or cut your hair??? You cannot draw a line where you think it should be. Everyone can draw a line that fits themselves and their own personality. If we were all the same life would be so boring!
You said "Let God decide who to judge or not. YOU Jenifer with one "n" are not God because you survived."..again so glad you spelled my name right...you are so right...lets let God judge us and not have anonymous pl do it. Who in their right mind would think they are God after surviving cancer too.
Yes B, she wants to see you naked and not your kids....thats the way I read it.

You have photos of naked babies on your blog. Why? //Louise

Marita (if that is her name) is not interested in our responses or any type of open minded discussion. "She" is probably just loving all of this attention, and will continue to "stir the pot". So in many ways, she is boring and predictable. Just ignore her and maybe she will something else to bully.

Marita said...

Are you open-minded? Well I will tell you why I commented on this blog and then leave you alone because I have noticed before that so many parents are provoked by comments like these. Maybe I used an unpleasant tone and I actually can apologize for that but please don´t post pictures of your naked daughter on-line. That is far worse than her make-up and nail polish. Honestly. The children here ( as all children actually, I think) are wonderful persons but I react when I see little girls pimped up and taught how to wear make-up. You have a very different culture in USA though we belong to the Western Culture both in USA and Scandinavia where I come from. In our country we are very free-spirited when it comes to nudity and our kids run nude on all beaches BUT many of us condemn posting photos on-line where children are naked. Our government, Save the Children and even the Police have warned parents to do that. Don´t they do that in USA? I am not talking about peddo´s but about respect for a kid´s privacy. Try to understand that and keep in mind that I wrote it because I felt sorry for that little girl, naked and with her butt on-line. Silly? Yes maybe but that is the explanation and make-up and nail polish on babies? Well I asked a few parents on my work and told them about my comments here and even if they thought I was a bit rude they agreed on how weird it was to paint and pimp up a girl.
So dear Janet and blogging mother that was my comment and if you are so open-minded as you write in the last comment then read this last comment from me and yes. my name is Marita. It´s a pretty common Scandinavian name for a woman my age.....Good Bye.

Janet I agree with you. I really didn't want to get into it but I just felt obligated to defend my family, especially innocent lil girls having fun with their mommy!
