Winky!!!

There once was a kitten named Winky
The girls promised, "Mommy it won't be stinky".

Gaga teased and tantalize,
trying to get Mommy to finalize,
an answer but Daddy said no

They said their heart would be broken
at the answer that was unspoken
....Gaga I am working on changing that, you know.

-----------------------------------------------

hahaha that's my poem about the cutest little kitten, Winky (who lives with Gaga) :)

If you didn't know, I have a little girl that likes attention :)

loving on Uncle Ryan.....didn't like the flash :) Ryan just woke up and was bombarded! lol
look how cute and fussy Winky is!!!

On a different note, I am considering ending my blog. I checked my comments yesterday, and had to delete several very very very inappropriate comments. Asking me to post certain pictures and starting off by saying "sorry for this comment....we are drunk"....
The purpose of this is to share with family and friends, but it seems that some pictures have been taken way out of the realm of (my) normalcy.
Does anyone else received random or inappropriate comments? Am I posting things that make me more susceptible?
I am not going to tolerate the awful comments about my sweet girls any longer!

Your girls are beautiful and all look so much like you! If you are worried about commenters, you can make your blog private where people have to log in to read (after you give them permission). You could also make your blog unsearchable and hide your blog address from your profile information. I love keeping up with you and your cuties!

You don´t have to end your blog but only keep your nude children private. There are more careless parents like you and you all deserve comments though not rude ones. But why do you have to show your naked baby in public? Do you think she will appreciate it in the future? You don´t own her and her body! You´re her mother and your most important job is to cherish her and protect her instead of throwing her to the wolves. That is what all careless parents do when they put up naked pics and even brag about them.
Nudity must be something to deside about when you get older. What is wrong with modesty, prudeness and privacy?

Seriously...what is the deal with these rude comments from anonymous posters?? That would be sad for you to have to delete your blog because of them. I wonder if it is the same crazy person? Anyways, your girls are adorable and growing too fast!! I understand where you are coming from and hope you dont have to delete this!! =)

Brook,
Just ignore the sick Anonymous poster. He/She truly has a problem and apparently is intent on making the rest of the world as miserable as "it" is. The world is full of evil and hate, and anonymous is just an example of that. Delete the comment -- this person isn't worth your time or energy -- apparently this person isn't concerned enough to sign their name -- SICK COWARD. Makes me wonder who this is . . . . .

I doubt the comments are truly anonymous but rather someone who is too much of a coward to show their face. I wouldn't end your blog but maybe make it private.

I don't get rude comments but I do get a lot of random links to Viagra, go figure:)

Actually, if you put up pictures of your naked baby you make it possible to get rude comments though they are not acceptable. Why is it so important to violate the childrens right to privacy? Do you think it is funny for them to be public with their naked bodies? I think you deserve the comments ( unless they are VERY rude) and luckily you baby is too small to understand. Hopefully the pics of her are unavailable when she comes to school. Would you have liked to have your naked ass in public when you went to school? What is wrong with being more private? Please be more careful with your children and their public nudity. It´s not that funny if the entire world can see me naked. I would have hated it.

Ok -- first of all she does not have naked pictures of her baby all over this blog so get off your high horse. And yes these comments were very rude and sounded more like a person that should be in treatment and/or jail. They used words much more than graphic and sick than the "ass" you used to describe a child. Nothing in the world justified the sickness of these comments.

There are people out there that just are not happy with themselves and literally waste their time on other peoples lives. You are my family therefore I love reading your blog and seeing "my" girls! The others are just lurkers that apparently like getting into other peoples business. Their culture is different and when you show a baby in the tub, no parts exposed at all, we think oh look at those cute lil legs, and it reminds me of when I had a lil one and all the joyous times I shared with them at that age. Other cultures cannot enjoy it like we do. Their minds are either in the gutter or they are so negative they cannot enjoy the beauties of life. Its all about what you make of life and how you perceive it. If you look upon things in a bad manner then you will never see the true beauty that life has to offer.
On another note each persons definition of nudity is different. Some think its appalling to see even grown women in bikinis, other cultures are not allowed to show their faces and wear dressings all over their bodies, then we have nudist colonies where the entire families expose themselves. Either way we have to respect everyone's beliefs. Its American culture to believe in diversity so I am assuming this person may not be American to that fact. Regardless feel blessed someone keeps taking the time to look at your blog. If its that bad and they do not agree with it then they wouldn't blog stalk you in the first place! You must be very interesting! I would like to think so!

To add I remember the make up and polish comments as well. Some cultures pierce their babies noses, some put boys in kilts, others believe that women should never cut their hair and only wear skirts or dresses. I would never for the life of me blog stalk people to tell them what I think. Even if it wasn't my belief or what I thought wasn't right in my eyes. Wheres the respect of others? If there s a problem then click next and move on to the next one. It reminds me of when I was in Jr. High and I felt I had to speak everything I thought. As I matured and grew through life I realized that as a grown women we should respect others. I imagine that these people do not go up to others at the grocery store and say "mam you need to take off your polish and quit exposing your children like that." or "Mam your child's onsie is too revealing you should cover their a$$ because you are a hateful and wrong person. You child doesnt want to expose their body like that" Its amazing what pl will type but not speak! We all have the right to say what we believe...but its it necessary or appropriate to treats others like this? Also is it a mature choice? Just because we have rights doesn't mean we should abuse them.

We should feel blessed we were raised right. I feel sorry for this person because her behavior definately reflects the way she was raised. Its sad!

I was referring to the rude individual that makes those posts

But to show a naked child on internet is abuse!!!! Whatever you say about how cute it is, her privacy and integrity IS abused. Organisations like Save the Children have, through media, warned parents to make videos or take photos and make them public if showing children naked. You´re right, no private parts are showing unless a butt is public according to people writing here. And it is strange that someone like this Jane think a written word is inappropriate but to show her naked to the whole world is ok? What kind of logic is that? You all reason like children are more equal to pets or items. A human being is considered to be someone with integrity and to own her body but this child is abused in that way. This mother is insulting her integrity and that is far worse than writing the word "ass". But I admire this little girls reading ability and please give her my excuses because I wasn´t aware of that she could read and therefore see that word.
And Janet, we both are placing ourselves on high horses or are you a doctor? How do you know about people´s health by reading their comments here? Well then I would conclude that this mother, writing on this blog, is very ignorant as she doesn´t care for her daughters safety in spite of all the warnings about putting the family album in public. And I couldn´t see anyone writing "naked pics all over the blog". It is bad enough that we can find them somewhere. Doesn´t she deserve privacy because she is small and chubby?
And Jenifer, I don´t mind nudity at all but to put someone´s naked body up here in public as this person cannot have an opinion about it. Otherwise I don´t care. I have seen and visited all these culture you talk about, the muslim and the western and I respect them all so I agree with you. And I don´t mind naked babies on the beach or in the garden. What I do mind and that very much is when parents put up photos in public where anyone can find it and use it. I can assure you, life is wonderful but I also love discussing things and having an opinion. That is something you must expect if you put up your life in public. I don´t mind being naked myself but not on public pics so why should this mommy do that to her daughter like this? It is truly disrespectful and very tasteless.

"Anonymous", do you feel blessed and for what reason. What rude comments are you referring to? Don´t you think it is rude to exploit a little child on a family blog? Do you know that someone from the Police, in a child porn case, said that family bloggers are the best suppliers of kiddie porn? Photos like these, cute and innocent in the family context, are copied and used by pornographers. But the people defending this blogger are more anxious about comments towards this blogger instead of being worried about how the pics of this little girl are copied and used in pornographical contexts. That is far worse than writing "ass" or asking the blogger to remove the pics. So anonymous, do you feel blessed to being raised into the right way. Your writing is a bit obscure but I suppose you mean that the blogger is blessed because you think it is a proof of being well raised when you put up pictures of your own naked children. My point is, let her be naked but in private. How could that be so difficult to understand and so repulsive as a point of view among the people who write here?

Jenifer said...

Well she chose to post her pic that she has every right to post, and you apparently choose not to. Agree to disagree and respect her beliefs. Let's be mature about this and respect others.

Anonymous said...

Yes, I feel blessed that I dont think a babies bottom is pornographic.

Jenifer said...

Also if you love discussing this kind of stuff I am up to finding some debate chat rooms or even places you can talk about your personal beliefs. They have many online outlets for that. Maybe the organization you spoke of has a chat room they offer. I feel like those are the appropriate places and you would find some adequate feedback there rather then on a family blog. We, as an me too, are beginning to abuse her blog by doing this.

Linda said...

"Anonymous" , you mean "a baby´s bottom" don´t you? Otherwise it should be babies bottoms. Shouldn´t it? I am asking as I suppose you are a native American or similar. If not, you are as bad as I am as a non-native.
I was a bit confused but if you oppose to that you must contact the Police because that´s the source from where I got the info. I don´t think anything else but what you should make public or not and a naked body should be published when that person feels for it. A child is not ready to make decisions and opposed to Jenifer, I don´t think a mother should be entitled to ( at least not without consequences) publish nude pictures of her children. That should be illegal and I think there will be laws against this in the future and I welcome that as parents obviously don´t have that common sense. But I repeat, I only talk about pics on internet NOT nudity in common. THAT is for each of us to deside...on most private places.
But you´re right Jenifer, let´s be mature on it. BTW regardless of not agreeing here I found your comment on cultures very interesting even though I don´t fully agree on wasting time by reading blogs. Isn´t that why we have blogs? To gain readers and maybe befriend people with same views on matters? And if you very much have an opinion, you might give a immature impression.

Linda said...

Jenifer, the last comment you wrote...thanks for sharing that info.

Geeze im ready for a resolution. I have a blog to share with my friends and family only. I am not interested in bloggers nor do I want to gain any readers im unaware of. My purposes are different then yours. Anyways if you would like for me to locate links for you i would be happy to do so, if not it should be fairly easy to google.

Brook,
Just take the blog private. Unfortunately, what was something nice and innocent for those of us that love you and the girls has been turned into something ugly and nasty by outsiders that just want to cause trouble.
It is sad, but after thinking about it decided not to engage in anymore debate about it -- don't even want to give that much attention to the trouble makers. They are not worth our effort or time. Just delete them and move on.
Love you very much!
Janet
